Germany stocks mixed at close of trade; DAX up 0.05% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.05%, while the index fell 0.75%, and the index lost 1.60%.

The best performers of the session on the were Siemens AG Class N (DE:), which rose 4.72% or 6.52 points to trade at 144.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Linde PLC (DE:) added 3.02% or 8.000 points to end at 272.500 and Bayer AG NA (DE:) was up 2.42% or 1.29 points to 54.59 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delivery Hero AG (DE:), which fell 30.04% or 20.08 points to trade at 46.76 at the close. HelloFresh SE (DE:) declined 6.17% or 3.34 points to end at 50.82 and Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:) was down 2.20% or 9.900 points to 439.100.

The top performers on the MDAX were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (DE:) which rose 1.80% to 14.4300, Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC (DE:) which was up 1.30% to settle at 5.610 and Evonik Industries AG (DE:) which gained 1.20% to close at 29.400.

The worst performers were Bechtle AG (DE:) which was down 10.51% to 46.410 in late trade, Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which lost 5.29% to settle at 28.830 and TeamViewer AG (DE:) which was down 3.92% to 15.44 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Siltronic AG (DE:) which rose 1.13% to 116.800, Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 0.83% to settle at 27.830 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) which gained 0.03% to close at 34.165.

The worst performers were Bechtle AG (DE:) which was down 10.51% to 46.410 in late trade, Suse SA (DE:) which lost 5.52% to settle at 27.40 and Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 5.29% to 28.830 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 395 to 286 and 91 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 0.43% to 20.94.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.01% or 0.25 to $1836.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.84% or 0.75 to hit $90.41 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 0.47% or 0.43 to trade at $91.98 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.42% to 1.1470, while EUR/GBP fell 0.17% to 0.8424.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 95.345.
