Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu drop up to 6%
The cryptocurrency market was trading lower on Friday, thanks to the sharp selloff in the US markets over inflation concerns and hawkish tone of US Fed. Barring the dollar pegged USD Coin and Avalanche, all eight out of the top-10 digital tokens were trading lower on Friday. Shina Inu, Solana and Terra dropped 6 per cent each.
Adani Wilmar takes winning run to 4th day
The (CPI) inflation in the US has surged to 7.5%, another peak after recording 7% in December 2021. This is perhaps highest in many decades and the probability to aggressive rate hike of higher than even 25 bps in March 2022 is high now. We expect equity markets to remain volatile globally. Given the uncertainties, the feel good factor post sentiment booster by RBI might not last long in Indian markets too. Thankfully, the strong inflows in domestic market would support Indian equities. The monthly SIP have crossed record number in Jan 2022 and the number of SIP is over 5 crore now.

Tech View: Nifty50 takes out 50-day EMA
Nifty50 on Thursday advanced for the third straight day and, in the process, closed above its 50-day exponential moving average (EMA). The 50-pack index topped the 17,600 level and formed a bullish candle on the daily chart, with a long wick. Settling the day above its major exponential moving average on the daily chart shows inherent strength, with the base for Nifty50 inching upward to 17,500 followed by 17,300 on an immediate basis.
