Cash bids mostly mixed | Markets

Compared to last week, cash bids for were mostly mixed for wheat, corn, sorghum and soybeans according to USDA reported prices, Feb. 1.
For the week ending Feb. 3, an increase of 17,419 metric tons of corn inspected and weighed for export was reported while a decrease of 197,901 metric tons of soybeans were inspected and weighed. Wheat inspected and weighed for export showed an increase of 41,226 metric tons. Sorghum inspected and weighed for export reported an increase of 27,893 metric tons.
Ethanol production for the week ending Jan. 28, had a slight increase at 1,041,000 barrels a day.
Wheat was up 9 1/2 cents to unchanged. Corn down 2 to 3 cents. Sorghum was down 3 cents. Soybeans were down 12 3/4 cents.
In the futures close, Kansas City March wheat was $8.01 1/4.
Terminal wheat bids, paid for truck delivery, included Kansas City, $8.16 1/4 to $8.29 1/4, up 9 1/2 cent; Minneapolis, unavailable; Portland, $10.50 to $11, unchanged; St. Louis, $7.93 3/4 to $7.98 3/4, up 10 cents.
Terminal corn bids, U.S. No. 2 yellow, price paid for truck deliver, included: Kansas City, $6.37 1/4 to $6.42 1/4, down 3 cents; Minneapolis, $5.92 1/4 to $6.12 1/4, down 23 to 30 cents; southern Iowa, $6.12 1/4 to $6.23 1/4, down 3 cents; Omaha, $5.94 1/4 to $6.14 1/4, down 3 cents.
Terminal soybean bids, U.S. No. 1, price paid for truck delivery, included: Kansas City, $15.64 to $15.79, down 12 3/4 cents; Minneapolis, $15.28 to 15.29, down 18 3/4 to 17 3/4 cents; southern Iowa, $15.36 to $15.54, down 12 3/4 cents; central Illinois processors, $15.69 to $15.79, own 12 3/4 cents.
Kansas City wheat prices Feb. 8, spot, fob track, included: No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, $9.61 1/4 to $9.71 1/4, up 9 1/2 cents; 12% protein, $10/01 1/4 to $10.11 1/4, up 4 1/2 cents; 13% protein, $10.21 1/4 to $10.31 1/4, up 4 1/2 cents; 14% protein, $10.21 1/4 to $10.31 1/4, up 4 1/2 cents. U.S. No. 2 soft red winter wheat was unavailable. U.S. No. 2 white corn was unavailable.
